Sitting

Family reading

A family reading is for households who already hold a money map or a retirement sketch from this room. It gives the adults who were not at the drawing a proper pass through the sheet, instead of a rushed explanation at the dinner table.

Three adults around a dark wood table with a large ivory sheet and colored stones arranged as a diagram.
Fee
4,200 THB. Fixed fee when a map or sketch from this practice is already in hand.
Time
Held within a month of your request, diary permitting
Form
One sitting of about ninety minutes
Where
At the Min Buri office, around the same table where the sheet was drawn.

Who it is for

Adult family members who share a purse, or who are being asked to share one, and who have not yet seen the sheet explained.

What you leave with

A shared reading, written corrections where a figure was wrong, and a short note of what the group agreed to revisit.

Included

  • A slow reading of the existing sheet.
  • Space for disagreement about a figure, marked on a tracing paper overlay.
  • A corrected note if a number changes during the hour.

Outside this engagement

  • A new map drawn from scratch. That is a separate engagement.
  • Mediation of disputes that are not about the figures on the sheet.
  • Readings for people who have no sheet from this practice.

Who leads it

Niramol Srisawat, who drew the original sheet, leads the reading.

How the time is spent

One pass

We start at the first month and do not skip ahead. Anyone in the room may stop the reading to challenge a figure.

Corrections

Wrong figures are marked. If the change is small, it is written into the note. A large change means a revision of the printed sheet, billed at the revision fee.

What to prepare

  • Bring the printed sheet.
  • Tell us who will attend, so the table is set for that number.
  • Agree beforehand that the sitting is about the sheet, not about old arguments that have no number on it.

Constraints

  • Up to five adults. Children are not part of the reading.
  • If the sheet is more than eighteen months old, we will ask you to book a new map instead.

Tell us the date of the original sitting and who needs to be in the room.
